South Korean Graphite Projects

Yongwon Graphite Project

  • Surface outcrop over 400m
  • Channel sampling across 9.7m width generated 11.7%TGC
  • Excellent metallurgy achieved 97% graphite concentrate with 87% recovery
  • EM conductor confirmed near surface and open along strike
  • Diamond drilling scheduled to define a maiden Inferred Resource

Daewon Graphite Project

  • Shallow dipping, 10m wide graphitic unit extends over 400m adjacent to existing infrastructure
  • Grades up to 24.8% TGC at surface
  • Petrography shows large, oriented graphite flakes free from inclusions
  • Excellent metallurgy is suggested from early results
  • Further channel sampling and ground EM survey planned

Wolmyeong Graphite Project

  • Historically the largest graphite mine in Korea, with extensive underground workings, closed in 1987
  • Multiple metamorphosed coal horizons grading up to 76.1% graphite suited to steel industry and foundry applications
  • Mapping and sampling aims to define coarse flake zones
